She has smooth shoulders and excellent feet and legs.
Her mammary system is well attached both fore and rear. She reminds us of her sister, Sett, in style and type. Nexus' mammary system has finally caught up with her huge frame, and was simply gorgeous this year. She did us proud standing 4th in the 2 year old class at the Nationals and scoring an impressive 91 EEEE. Nexus had a great show season in , going GCH at the impressive Hoosier Classic show and finishing her championship. She was 3rd 4 year old at Nationals with 1st place udder.
This doe just gets more impressive with every freshening. Sunny Day is exceptionally large: she is a carbon copy of her dam in height, color and body style. Sunny Day has taken Sett's best features and improved upon them with even better teat placement. Her udder is similar but has a little more rear udder arch. Sunny is the star of this year's milkers and a family favorite with her calm, loving, "sunny" personality. This doe is a herd favorite and is proving herself not only as a show doe, but as a brood doe as well. Her daughter, Shine, was our best milking yearling and finished her championship as a 2 year old.
Sunny's son, Slayer, is one of our Sr. Herdsires and will be used again in our fall breeding program. Solice is a smoothly blended doe with a level topline and rump. She has strong feet and legs with a highly arched escutcheon and good teat placement. Solice had a bang to start her show season winning the Dry yearling class at the Nationals and then going National Champion!
Solice freshened with a pretty udder; it's well attached in the rear and an exceptional fore. We love this doe - she embodies big and powerful. Solice had an udder injury this summer that limited her show season. We hope it will repair during her dry period and that she will be back on our string in Medley is the most correct and balanced doe in the herd. She isn't the largest doe in the barn, but is one of the most correct and balanced.
She has an exceptional mammary system with excellent attachment both fore and rear. Her teats are of nice size and perfect in placement. She is an eye-catching doe with her vibrant color and style. In , she had an outstanding year, winning the Michigan 2 year old All Breed Futurity. Along with a good show season, she has produced one of our top herdsires. Medley wasn't show in Excel is a powerful doe that has tons of depth and width throughout. Excel has a pretty udder, being high and wide in the rear with a smooth fore and perfect teat placement.
Her lateral attachment is awesome. She is the largest of our 3 year olds, and takes after her dam, Nexus. Champion and 2 other beautiful daughters in our herd. Excel had a couple of seetbacks last season and was not shown.
Blessed with big game lodges
She snapped back this year and was able to finish her championship. We feel Excel will be a real asset to our herd because of her ability to produce beautiful daughters. Champion 2nd place Sr. Parfait was purchased from Crystal Kniesly. We have always admired her dam and dumped at the chance when she was offered to us.
We feel she is a nice addition to the herd. She combines some of our same lines with a new twist. Parfait is a really correct doe that is smoothly blended with excellent width between the hocks. Parfait has just a near ideal mammary system with perfect teat placement. She stands on excellent feet and legs and is a real dairy doe.
She has been the star of our 3 year olds and was 1st place 3 year old at the Nationals, with 1st place udder! Thank you, Crystal, for sharing her with us! Tandra is another one of the family favorites. She is one of the largest 3 year olds. She is long-bodied and dairy, and stands on a great set of feet and legs. Tandra's udder is high and wide in the rear with near ideal teat placement. We feel she will be a knockout with another freshening. Her littermate brother, Turk, was used in our breeding program and made quite an impact.
Meridian is precious to us being that she is the first doe that we have had out of Marm in years. She is just a powerhouse with a long, level frame and a beautiful mammary system flawless fore udder on this girl!! She placed well at the National Show. Omega is of the same breeding that produced our beloved Tara. Omega is my personal favorite of the herd. She is smoothly blended and walks with all kinds of style. She is a long-bodied doe that is very level over the back and rump.
Her udder is well attached, both fore and rea. She is definitely one of my favorite does! Mirage is just what I had hoped for with the Throttle breeding. She is a huge doe with lots of bone and length. She has a wide rump and lots of depth to her body. She freshened with a well attached mammary system, both fore and rear. Mirage was RGCH her first show out, but picked up a virus and lost her bloom, so she stayed home to recover.
We can't wait to get this doe out again in ! Tilly took a year off and freshened this year better than ever. She came into good milk and over the summer she was able to shed off the extra weight. She has taken on a sharp clean frame oozing of dairyness all while standing on a strong set of feet and legs.
Tilly was 2nd place 4 year old at this year's Nationals and was part of our first place dairy herd. Scandal is an extremely tall, long-bodied doe. She has a loving and quirky personality like her dam, Solitaire. Scandal has a lovely mammary system with an exceptional fore udder.
She has shown well so far and we look forward to finishing her as she matures. Madam is a super correct doe. She has an exceptional front end, being clean and dairy, is smoothly blended and has great angulation. She freshened with one of the prettiest rear udders that I've had in years. She is one of my own personal favorites!
Embrace is one of the favorites of our Hurricane daughters. She is the tallest and longest of the Hurricane does and is very correct throughout and has an extremely high, wide escutcheon with she put a picture-perfect udder into. We dried her up after a difficult kidding as a yearling to give her time to recover. We look forward to showing her again as a milker. Breathe has matured as a 2nd freshening 3 year old. She has an amazing topline and rump.
Her udder is well attached and her fore udder is exceptionally long and smooth. Her body is smoothly blended and balanced throughout. Breathe was 12th place 3 year old at Nationals and was also part of our 1st place Senior Get of Sire. Her show season was strong placing in the upper part of her age division and getting a milking leg. Tigress is a dairy doe that resembles the body style of her sister, Tilly. She is very strong in feet and legs and is smoothly blended throughout. Linear Appraisal: Year Show Record:. Meadow is one of the most correct does in our herd. She is our last Marmalade daughter and reminds us of her dam in many ways.
Meadow is long bodied with a level topline and rump. She stands on excellent feet and legs and is smoothly blended throughout. She has a well-attached mammary system with great teat placement. Meadow freshened as a first freshening 2 year old last spring but we felt another freshening is what she needed. This year she aborted 4 weeks early so she will not be shown until ! We feel she is worth the wait. Look for her in !! She snapped back better than we thought after all she went through, but did not have the amount of milk with a single birth needed to balance out her large frame.
She is an extremely sizey doe and we feel it will take another freshening for her udder to match with her huge frame. She has a level topline and rump and at a quick glace you think she is Temptation. Her feet and legs are excellent and her mammary is high and wide. We are excited to have her freshen again to get her on our show string!! Risque was a first freshener this spring.
She kidded in March with a beautiful udder and is a productive doe in the milk department. She is easy going like her dam and is similar in type. We have not taken her to a show but feel with another year to mature she will bloom into a competitive doe. We wish all our does were as sweet as she is! She has lots of bone and is a powerful force to reckon with. Teal has bloomed into an impressive two year old. She is a very extreme doe being one of the longest, tallest does in our herd.
She has a large milky mammary system, with good attachment and teat placement. Teal was 2nd place 2 year old at Nationals with first place udder. She had a great show season finishing her championship by mid season. Tacori freshened last spring with a pretty udder being high and wide with a smooth fore and nice size teats that are properly placed. She is a stylish doe that is smoothly blended and wide throughout. She added a little weight this summer so we have pulled her off the show string to thin her down for ! Naomi is the longest bodied kid of this year's kid crop.
She resembles her maternal sister Nadia with her long stylish frame and excellent feet and legs. We felt this would be one of our best breedings of the season and have not been disappointed. We love Naomi and can't wait to see her mature. Tempest is a very striking kid. She has excellent feet and legs and overall General Appearance. We feel she will make an excellent junior dry yearling and look forward to showing her at Nationals.
Paisley is a stylish doe with lots of length and balance throughout. She had a great show season and we can't wait to get her out as a dry yearling. Thyme was the matriarch of our herd. She was my personal favorite and was an invaluable asset to our herd. Her show career has been a great one with numerous Grand Champion, Best of Breed and Best in show wins. Fame started for Thyme as a yearling milker when she almost finished her permanent championship, and continued on with her most current wins at our state fair. Thyme maintained a strong show record along with being our second highest producing doe behind her own daughter , in spite of the fact that she suffered from gangrene mastitis several years ago.
She was a hearty, large framed doe with a long, level topline and beautiful flat rump. Her mammary system was very capacious with excellent attachment, being smooth in the fore and high and wide in the rear. Thyme's best quality of all was her ability to reproduce herself with beautiful daughters of the same type and style look for them and you'll be impressed! Sadly, Thyme was put down last fall before winter.
She is greatly missed as a friend, and was the type of goat you only breed once in a lifetime. Truly, she was special in so many ways. You'll notice her consistent, beautiful daughters and granddaughters throughout this site. Madison is a real pretty doe. She is a deep-bodied doe that is smoothly blended and has a level toplien with a wide, flat rump.
Her mammary system has an exceptionally wide rear udder, a smooth, long fore udder, and teats with proper shape, size and placement. Madison is a herd favorite, being very easy going, an excellent milker, and a joy to work with. She's had an excellent show record, but has been retired from showing for the last few years to stay home and provide us with beautiful daughters! Look for them throughout this site. You will like what you see! Madison kidded this year with two beautiful doe kids. We feel breeding her every other year is best for a doe of her age.
She continues to be a 'slam-dunk' producer of doe kids though, and each one of them is highly valued. Tory is a carbon copy of her dam, Thyme. She is a tall, dairy doe with a long, smoothly blended body and excellent general appearance. Her mammary system is well attached both fore and rear and she stands on strong feet and legs.
Tory has so many strong points that she is the type of doe you just can't help but notice. Along with a good show career, Tory has produced two permanent champion daughters with the same high standards. We can't wait to see what her next daughters do! Tory is now retired from the show ring. CH Autumn-Acres Ms. Solaris is another one of our beautiful Cycas daughters, with a "rags to riches" story.
She is the type of doe we are striving for, being large with a long, correct frame and an exceptional mammary system - and lots of milk! Solaris sustained a shoulder injury this past spring. We continue to feel that she is just a timeless, beautiful doe, but at this point we are undecided about breeding her this fall. Grand Champion Rec. She was simply outstanding as a yearling and has continued on as a strong contender.
Her mammary system is near ideal being superbly attached with near perfect teat placement. Trista has good depth of body and is smoothly blended. She has better rear leg angulation than her sisters and has a wide, level rump. If there was something I would change about her, I would give her a little more length.
We feel that this doe and her maternal siblings are the backbone of our herd and share in some of the success we've had. Trista came out in for the National Show and was first place 5 year old, 1st place Produce and was part of our 1st place Dairy Herd. She had a good showing at this year's Nationals.
We're really hoping for a doe year next spring, since Trista has only had bucks for the past few years. Even so, she is and continue to be, a very valuable asset to our herd! She has lots of general appearance, and is built very solidly. Her chest floor is very wide and it is carried back through to her hocks. She has a high wide rear udder and a smooth, well-attached fore udder.
Her teats are of nice size and shape and are correctly placed. We feel Tressa and her sister, Trista, have the best mammary systems that we have ever produced.
Tressa seemed to be a showstopper from the moment she was born. Doe and went on to freshen the next spring with the type of udder you can only hope for. She has continued on with her show success and has produced three lovely daughters in our herd with superb mammary systems. All of her milking daughters have finished their championships and we look forward to freshening her dry daughters.
She deserves a gold medal for showing and producing daughters as good as, or better, than herself! This is certainly a well-deserved award, and a long time coming. Tressa's mammary system is truly something to behold, and hasnt' shown any signs of age whatsoever - not bad for a doe going on 12 years old! She's also still being named Best Doe in Show!
She is a smooth-bodied doe that has a beautiful udder. She possesses some of the qualities we wanted to entwine in our herd. Vizzion was 2nd place in the Yearling Milker class at the Nationals in , and her dam, Sizzle, was the Reserve Grand Champion to our doe, Solaris. Together, Vizzion and Sizzle won the Dam and Daughter class. We thank Cindy for allowing us to purchase such a fine doe.
Vizzion, once again, topped her age division at the Nationals and was named Reserve National Champion. This is in addition to an outstanding year in , topping the 3 year old class at the Nationals and was also part of our 1st place Dairy Herd. Vizzion has maintained herself well and looks great at an advanced age.
She has topped her age bracket every time at the Nationals and has been my son, Tyler's winning partner in Showmanship. Vizzion has proved herself by producing some outstanding daughters in other herds and we feel her breeding this year will prove to be one of the best!
She has a high, wide rear udder and a fore udder that is smoothly blended. Her long dairy neck blends into sharp withers and a level topline. Solitaire is so dairy and milks so well that our biggest challenge is to get her into show shape for the summer season. Solitaire had a difficult, single kidding, and ended up having a c-section last year. After a good recovery she was still able to make the Nationals and ended up the show season with a good record part of our Dairy herd and Best 3 Females.
Solitaire's daughter, Solice, was National Jr. Champion and it's appearing that she is sure to follow in her family's hoofprints. This spring, Solitaire suffered a cracked elbow, and had to be taken off the show string. We don't know if she will be able to go on the road again, but is a valuable member of our herd for her milk production, and as an excellent brood doe.
Solitaire's daughter, Solice, was 3rd place at the Nationals in the 2 year old class as a first freshener. We were very proud of this doe's accomplishments and feel she will continue to have a long show career. Lucy is a tall, powerful, large framed doe that stands on an exceptional set of feet and legs. She has a level topline and a wide, flat rump. Her mammary system is well attached with the longest fore udder in the herd.
She is a very mature doe and most of the judges comment about her impressive size. We fell she is true to her maternal side with all her size and strength of feet and legs. Lucy won the Michigan All Breed 2 year old Futurity.
HABRI Central - Resources:
We feel this was quite an accomplishment with all the competition. Lucy has not been shown since due to an udder injry. She has been an excellent brood doe producing some excellent daughters. Her daughter from , Saxs, was my personal favorite and has turned into a beautiful milker!

Sonoma is easily one of the largest kids born on the farm. She has always been a mature-looking doe, and was quick to finish her championship. She has tremendous width from her chest to her hocks and is very deep-bodied. Her feet and legs are strong and she has a well attached udder that is very smoothly blended.
She freshened just before the National Show so she was not able to make the trip. She still was able to get out a couple of times during the show season and was able to win her classes. Sonoma was 3rd place in the 2 year old Michigan All Breed Futurity, only standing behind her own 2 herdmates. Surri is typical of our Solaris daughters. She has a lot of size and width throughout and her mammary system is the best yet.
Her rear udder is picture perfect and she has excellent teat placement. Surri has lovely dairy character and strong bone structure with improved angulation over her near-perfect dam. Surri is one of the bes does to have freshened in our barn and due to poor judgment of our previous barn help, Surri will never be the same udder damage. This year, Surri has increased milk production from the damaged half of her mammary system.
We have high hopes that next year she will improve even more sot hat she can be shown and achieve the permanent champion status she so deserves. We love Surri's doe kids this season, and her daughter was 1st place Intemediate kid at Nationals. Kendra is a powerhouse. She is one of the longest, tallest does in the herd. She has tons of bone, but is still very dairy.
Her milk production is second to non, and we feel her kids were some of the best born on the farm this season. Kendra was not shown this year due to freshening a little light on one half. We feel this should repair during her dry period and she will be back showing next season. Saxs was a pick of the kid crop from the beginning. She is sleek and flashy with a good sized, long frame. Her feet and legs are excellent and she has a well balanced, smoothly blended body. Saxs was first place Intermediate Recorded Grade kid at the National show with stiff competition.
She freshened with a pretty udder and grew into a beautiful doe. This doe has always been one of my favorites! She had a good show season finishing her championship! We feel her career has only started. Peach is out of our beautiful Georgia.
Lodging, prepared meals, hunting-savvy staff offer unique experience
She excels in size and frame like her dam. Peach is a huge yearling. We have taken her out a couple of times this year We can't wait to see her fresh! Antimony was an exceptionally large, flashy doe that oozed of style and grace. She had tremendous depth and length to her body and a very capacious, well-attached mammary system. Her udder was globular in shape with a strong medial and teats of proper size and shape. Money finished her championship in with quite an impressive show record.
Since , we have limited the amount she has been shown so we could concentrate on some of the other does. Money also lineared in scoring an impressive 91 EEEE. We didn't show her in because of a slight mastitis problem due to an oversight on my part and a kidding with quads that took its toll on her. I feel Money is the type of doe we are looking for in our Alpine breeding program.
She has produced this similar type and style in her offspring and we are excited to watch her daughter mature in our herd. Money kidded this season with triplet bucks which will be working in three quality Alpine breeders' program this fall. With much sadness, we put Money down late this summer and miss her dearly. She lives on through her beautiful daughter, Alera. Lumina is a large framed doe with a long, level topline. Her mammary system is exceptional, having a very smooth, well-extended fore udder and a high, wide rear udder with teats of proper size, shape and placement.
Lumina finished her championship in , so was only shown a few times in Even with her limited showing, this was her best season yet with two Best in Show wins and several Grands and Reserves. Lumina had been retired from the show ring since We decided to bring Lumina out to a show this summer and she did super, going Best of Breed and the judge was quick to praise her on her excellent feet and legs especially for a 10 year old doe. Along with being a high producing, showy doe, Lumina is an excellent brood doe. She has two permanent champion daughters in the herd and two working their way to that status.
Alera is a very dairy doe. She has a lot of style and general appearance.
Her body is long and level with a smooth front end and excellent feet and legs. She has an awesome side profile and is quite correct throughout. Her mammary system is beautiful, being high and wide in the rear and smoothly blended in the fore. Alera's teat placement sits toward the outside of the udder, but is not too far off. She is one of the animals closet to the total package in our herd and we are extremely proud of her.
Alera has had a problem carrying her kids to term for the past couple of years. We feel we have figured out her hormonal problem and look forward to another kidding. Lydia is a powerful doe with lots of width from her chest to her hocks.
Sorry, this content is not available in your region.
She is level over the topline and has a wide, flat rump. Lydia could use some smoothing outo in the shoulder area, but is very strong in the other aspects of the score card. All this and she milks well too! Lydia is an easy breeder and is notorious for having triplets. Vienna was added to the herd last spring when Chad and Carrie Ringkvist decided to down size their herd. They knew we've always loved Vienna and offered her to use before putting the word out that she would be for sale.
Vienna is extremely tall and long. She has a well attached udder with excellent teat placement and stands on a good set of feet and legs. She had a good show season and even blessed us with twin does last year. This year, Vienna has some problems after freshening. We decided to dry her off and get her into shape. We feel she is back to her normal self, and have bred her to Session for spring.
Vienna has proven herself to be a really valuable brood doe.
